My experience in Informatics

I started teaching in the Informatics Department in the Spring of 2000. I've taught a number of courses in both computer networking and web development. This year I am teaching:

My career goals

I would like to continue teaching at FHSU and adding to our curriculum as the field continues to evolve. I am working on a number of research projects at the moment in both cybersecurity and web development. I am also leading several service initiatives, including a new faculty-student mentoring program at FHSU.

Two things I really want to learn

  1. Leverage ChatGTP to raise the bar on projects
  2. How to become a Kamado Joe guru. It takes time, lots of time. I need to work on this.

One of my favorite websites (The Points Guy)

I do love to travel and take any opportunity I get to go and explore the world. It takes a bit of cash in the pocket so I have learned the tips and tricks to utilizing points. This guy is really great at breaking things down and staying on top of the latest offers and changes. Maybe someday I'll make it to the Superbowl to watch the Chiefs win again!
